College Service Award Winner Kelsey Smith

College Eight student Kelsey Smith was recently presented with a College Service award for her outstanding contributions to College Eight and the university as a whole. From the beginning of her academic career here in 2011, Kelsey was involved in programs at College Eight and interning at the Student Environmental Center. The following year, she served as a peer adviser and office assistant at College Eight. Since then, she has also participated in various other campus activities such as the College Eight Earth Week Team, serving as volunteer coordinator for the 2013 Zero Waste Move Out, and teaching a Zumba class at College Eight. Now, she is the President of the Mixed Ethnicities Student Headquarters (MESH) and Senior Coordinator of the East Zone Waste Reduction Team.
