Diana is the new college advisor in shared position with Oakes and Rachel Carson Colleges. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz as a first generation and AB 540 student. Diana grew up in LA and is of Mexican heritage.

Before becoming an advisor, she was a peer advisor for Rachel Carson College from 2017-2021. She enhances knowledge and understanding through sharing information, resources, and learned experiences with students. She also worked various jobs at UCSC as the Inter-org coordinator with the sustainability office, mail room worker, Zoom Corps Consultant, and the media and communications coordinator for the sustainability studies minor.

In her spare time, Diana enjoys watching movies, eating out, playing Nintendo switch, and watching anime. She is a big Disney and Marvel enthusiast, and her favorite video game as a child is anything from the Legend of Zelda franchise and Kingdom Heart franchise.
