VentureWell Student Project Funds

These funds are available to students who need start up resources to launch an entrepreneurial idea or design project that is aligned with the Rachel Carson College mission. At the intersection of Environment & Society Rachel Carson College is positioning students to gain the skills needed to contribute to the resilience of the earth’s resources and to explore systems-level solutions. Another major goal is to integrate experiential learning with professionalization through two tracks:

  1. The built environment
  2. Natural resource management.

How do I apply? There are two types of venture well student fund.

How are funding decisions made? The provost makes the final funding decisions, based on the merit of the project, the extent to which the project will benefit the college and/or university community, and the availability funds.
