Program Assistants at Rachel Carson College
Program Assistants (PAs) are UCSC undergraduate students who serve to support the College Programs Coordinator in programs and events for Rachel Carson College.
PAs are responsible for planning programs and activities that engage the Rachel Carson community and provide opportunities for meaningful interactions and/or educational enrichment. The PA position is a paid student employment position. PAs are paid a wage of $16.50/hour. PAs are expected to work an average of 8 to 10 hours a week.

Alia Moore:
Hi yall! I’m Alia and I’m a 4th year history and politics double major! I’m Lead PA this year and I’m so excited to bring yall some fun events this school year! Good luck and Go Slugs! 💙💛
Yuritzi Argueta:
Hi there! My name is Yuritzi and I’m so excited to be back at Rachel Carson. I am a double major in Theatre and Anthropology and hope to work as a set designer one day! My favorite things to do are Aerial Arts, Dance, baking, listening to music and reading. I look forward to seeing all of you wonderful students at our events!
Richard Fung:
Hello, my name is Richard Fung, and I’m a fourth year AGPM major! I’m a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) and am a cancer survivor! I love tech and plushies!
Sylvia Wartell:
Hi, I'm Sylvia and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a second year student at UCSC studying physics. In my free time I love hiking, playing music, and reading. I am also a part of an improv group on campus. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or needs!
